Mintu Bora

I am a computer software engineer by qualification and have been in the information technology space for two decades now. I have led product and project management in addition to managing customer relationships. I have also developed and executed strategies for information technology, software development, and consultancy companies (large and small) in the United States as well as India. Since 2015, I have been building digital platforms that address the issues of healthcare accessibility and affordability. I dream of a universal healthcare ecosystem that blends the human touch with technology and domain expertise. I am committed to leveraging technology to better lives across the world and democratizing it to solve – at scale – urgent problems confronting our planet. I firmly believe in the potential of public-private collaborations and community-driven initiatives to trigger and sustain massive transformations in healthcare, food security, education, and climate change. I grew up in the north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. My parents were teachers there, moving from one remote village to another in the mountains, setting up and running day schools for children and night schools for adults. I long to someday return to that era of innocence, contentedness, and serenity.
