Zamazenda Mzelemu

Zama is a driven, goal directed individual who always thinks outside the box. I have always been a curious individual which is why I have pursued a degree of Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Law and Human Resources management. My humble beginnings are in a small town called Margate where my mother raised me to dream big, she said “dream beyond your mean because everything we see around us was once a dream.” I was raised by a strong woman who does not believe in giving up and she instilled the art of preservation, teaching my brother and I that giving up will never be an option. I went to Port Shepstone High School where I did my matric and further ventured to university.

In South Africa playing field will never be levelled one has to fight the hard to be victorious. I have always had an interest in working at problem solving which is why I use to spend my days watching Discovery investigation trying to figure out who did what. This also  sparked an interest in law, I also believe that human capital is like a tree which when taken care of will the yield plenty and be beautiful but when ignored the yield leaves a lot be desired.

My hope to fuse my two majors to make them work hand-in-hand to ensure that people are treated fairly. Someday,  I hope to have my own company which caters for the underprovided  communities, creating jobs for thousands as well being a household brand in my sector. I hope to further the vision of IESHER to bring change so that the soil of our land works for all its people.
